Diamond recall expands again
It began with an isolated recall of a single formula in late April. Last month, close to a dozen brands had been affected, and a manufacturing facility in South Carolina had temporarily ceased production. Two weeks ago, more Diamond formulas were added to the recall list.
Salmonella contamination has now been confirmed in a second Diamond plant. This has led to an expansion of the recall which began in April. This Month’s Whole Dog Journal
This month’s issue includes a fascinating story on the editor’s visit to the Procter & Gamble and Hills animal research facilities. Other articles include a related piece on the type of studies conducted at these facilities, managing canine diabetes, a reminder of how to calculate a food’s true nutritional analysis, and eliminating fear related behaviors in puppies.
If you’d like a copy of this month’s edition included with your order, just let us know. Single copies are just $5.00, which represents a savings over the $5.95 cover price.
