Pet Plan pet insurance bills itself as the world’s largest pet insurance provider.
They offer tiered policies for dogs and cats and cover heriditary diseases with no lifetime dollar limit per condition.
They also offer cover ages for some alternative therapies such as acupuncture and chiropractic.
Keep in mind. . . while a policy may not set a dollar limit for a specific condition, there may be annual or lifetime policy limits which do apply. Pet Plan’s annual limits are “reset” each year.
Our standard disclaimer:
With any pet insurance policy, be sure you read and understand what is, and is not, covered by the policy. If a policy does not specifically state a condition is covered, there’s always a chance that it is not. Know your rights and procedure (if any) to appeal a determination.
Keep in mind that an injury or treatment that is “related” to an excluded condition can sometimes be deemed an excluded condition. Ideally, you would like a list of covered conditions to eliminate any question of what will be reimbursed.
