Primal Pet Food has announced a change in design and packaging sizes for their raw pet foods. The formulation of the products will remain unchanged.
The new packages have just started to appear. The 4 pound packages of nuggets are transitioning to a 3 pound size, and the 8 pound packages of patties are changing to 6 pound bags.
Normally, when a change in size like this is made, manufacturers use the occasion to boost their prices. We’ve been assured that the price per pound, and this has been confirmed with the new packages we’ve received to date.
The change is being made as part of Primal’s 10th anniversary celebration. The intention is to help ensure fresher product and easier storage in smaller freezers at home.
For those of you on auto-delivery currently using these products, we’ll be in touch once the new sizes begin shipping to make adjustments to your orders and/ or delivery interval.
