Changes at King County Animal Shelter

Pet Owners Tax Deduction Introduced

A bill has been introduced in the House of Representatives which would allow a $3500 income tax deduction for pet care expenses. Introduced by Thadeus McCotter (R-MI), HR 3501, the Humanity and Pets Partnered Through the Years (HAPPY) Bill, is currently in the House Ways and Means committee awaiting debate.
