In a recent article in the Seattle Times, the therapy pet program at Swedish Hospital in Edmonds got a good viewing. Literally.
The program uses a small video camera attached to some of the therapy dogs as they make their rounds. The videos are later edited and then posted on the Swedish website.
The hospital began the video program last year. It was inspired by a YouTube video from a cat owner who wanted to see what his cat did while he was away at work all day. After attaching a camera to his cat and reviewing the tapes, he discovered that it was mainly. . . sleep.
Have a look and see what you think- gotta love the nose!
