Has the realization ever struck you, while unintentionally eavesdropping, that you might be able to save a life?
That’s exactly what happened this weekend as snippets of a story were overheard at the Mukilteo Off Leash Park.
Between the sounds of wind, raindrops, and puppies playing, details of a local rescue on the side of the road unfolded. It was a dog that had been regularly seen in the area, but all attempts at rescue had been in vain.
But not for Susan. For some reason, she was able to connect with the dog and brought her home. That night, she gave birth to a litter of 6 healthy puppies. You can see a few more photos on our Facebook page.
One good turn deserves another, and in another month or so they’ll be ready to go home with someone looking for a new family member. If that’s you, let us know and we’ll be happy to pass along Susan’s contact number so you can work out arrangements directly.
If you adopt one of these little furkids and live in our service area, your first bag of puppy food is on us!
